The Candidate Edit is operated by Caitlin, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. All services are provided by me personally.

2. Services

I offer the following services:

• The CV Edit — a full CV rewrite and professional review
• The LinkedIn Edit — a LinkedIn profile optimisation
• The Interview Edit — a one-hour interview preparation coaching session
• The Full Edit — a bundle combining The CV Edit, The LinkedIn Edit, and The Interview Edit

All services are delivered by me personally. Service descriptions on the website are accurate at the time of purchase, though I reserve the right to update them over time.

3. How it works

Once you complete your purchase, you will receive a link to my client intake form. You must complete this form before any work can begin, as it provides me with the information I need to deliver your service.

Upon submitting the intake form, you will be directed to book a discovery call or interview preparation session via my booking system.

CV and LinkedIn edits are delivered within 3 to 5 working days following your discovery call. Interview preparation sessions are scheduled at a time that suits you.

If you are working to a tight deadline, please contact me before purchasing at thecandidateedit@gmail.com. I will confirm whether an expedited turnaround is possible. A last-minute booking fee of £30 applies to same-day requests.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are displayed on the website and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Payment is taken in full at the point of purchase via Stripe.

I reserve the right to update my pricing at any time. Changes will not affect orders that have already been placed.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Before submitting your intake form:
If you wish to cancel your order before submitting the client intake form, please contact me as soon as possible at thecandidateedit@gmail.com. In this case, I will offer a full refund.

After submitting your intake form:
Once you have submitted the intake form, work on your order will have commenced. At this point, I am unable to offer a refund. By submitting the intake form, you acknowledge that the service has begun and you agree to waive your right to a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Dissatisfaction with your service:
I take quality seriously and want you to be happy with the work I deliver. If you have concerns about the quality of your completed service, please get in touch within 7 days of delivery and I will do my best to address them. This does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Delivery

Digital deliverables (your completed CV, LinkedIn profile, or other documents) will be sent to the email address you provide. It is your responsibility to ensure this is correct.

Delivery timescales begin from the date of your discovery call, not the date of purchase. I will communicate clearly if there is any delay.

7. Your responsibilities

To allow me to deliver your service effectively, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information on the intake form
• Submit the intake form promptly following purchase
• Respond to any follow-up questions from me in a timely manner

I cannot be held responsible for delays or reduced quality resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.

8. Intellectual property

The completed documents I produce for you (such as your rewritten CV or LinkedIn content) are yours to use freely once delivered and payment has been received in full.

All other content on my website, including copy, design, and branding, remains the intellectual property of The Candidate Edit and may not be reproduced without my permission.

9. Limitation of liability

While I take every care in delivering my services to a high standard, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, interview invitations, or application success. The effectiveness of a CV, LinkedIn profile, or interview preparation will always depend on factors outside my control.

My total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that service.

Nothing in these Terms limits my liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or from the services I provide will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

I may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on my website. Continued use of my services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
